Reload a card you already have
Add money to an active card without changing its number, expiry or CVV. Reloads have no issue fee.
A reload adds money to a card that is already yours. Nothing about the card changes except the balance, so every service that has it on file keeps working.
Start a reload
There are three ways in:
- under Cards, choose Reload on the card;
- on the Overview, choose Reload this card;
- on the request page, switch to Reload a card and pick the card from the list.
What it costs
You pay the amount you add plus the 15% load charge. There is no issue fee on a reload. The page shows the balance the card will have afterwards, so you can see the result before paying.
Which cards can be reloaded
A card can take a reload when:
- it is active (not frozen and not closed);
- it is in your account;
- it has no other reload in progress;
- it has no refund request open.
If a card does not meet these rules, the request page tells you and offers a new card instead.
After you pay
The reload appears in Activity with its own status. A person checks the payment and adds the money to the card. A new card or a reload is usually ready 1–6 hours after the payment is confirmed. You get an email and an inbox notice when the balance has been added.
Time it before renewals
If a subscription renews on a fixed date, reload a day or two before it, not on the morning of the renewal. That leaves room for the payment check.
