How long requests take
Typical timing for new cards and reloads, what can slow a request down, and how to plan around renewals.
A new card or a reload is usually ready 1–6 hours after the payment is confirmed.
That time starts once the payment is confirmed, not when you send the request. Each payment passes through human review before cards or reloads go out, which is why nothing is instant.
What can make it slower
- Network confirmations. Some networks take longer to confirm a transfer, especially when they are busy.
- A missing or wrong TXID. Without the right transaction ID, the payment cannot be matched.
- An amount that does not match. Too little or too much needs a manual decision.
- Busy periods. Weekends and holidays can be busier than usual.
- Questions for you. Sometimes we need a detail before we can approve.
What you can do
- Paste the TXID straight after sending a manual transfer.
- Send the exact total on the network shown.
- Keep an eye on your inbox; if we ask something, a quick answer keeps things moving.
Planning around renewals
If a service renews on a fixed date, reload a day or two before it. That leaves room for the payment check and avoids a failed renewal.
Following a request
Every request has a page in Activity with a progress track. When it is done, you get an email and an inbox notice. If a request has been waiting much longer than usual, open a ticket from the request page.
